Water is the ultimate detox tool being a part of our daily life. Detoxing is necessary for optimal health, weight loss and well-being. Instead of utilizing detox products from supplements, colon cleansing aids, detox foot baths and detox patches, why not turn to something that is already essential to our being? Water. Water has been used to remove toxins and restore health since the beginning of time. Drinking 2 liters of water a day can dramatically improve your health: glowing complexion and clear skin, better immunity, better digestion, less aches and pains, weight loss, less cellulite, better concentration and renewed vitality and energy. Infusing the body with water will stimulate your kidneys, liver and digestive system’s functions. It will boost metabolism, accelerating toxin and fat elimination. Doing a water detox in conjunction with a healthy diet and exercise will lead to the benefits previously listed.
There are several different detox waters. Pick upon your preferred taste:
2L water, 1 medium cucumber, 1 lemon, 10-12 mint leaves.
Steep overnight in fridge and drink every day.
Great for general detox—including clear skin!
1 cup strawberries
2 cups watermelon, cubed
2 sprigs fresh rosemary
dash of course salt
Muddle strawberries and watermelon. Let sit for 4-6 hours. Enjoy!
1 lemon, thinly sliced
1/2 cucumber, thinly sliced
4 sprigs mint
2 quarts filtered water
2-6 T. apple cider vinegar (optional)
Divide lemons and cucumbers into 2 different jars. Pluck the mint leaves off the stems. Steep overnight. Enjoy!
